I wanted a smaller size tv for the bedroom and since they don't currently make OLED tvs any smaller than 55" I decided to get this 43" QLED.

My main TV is a 65" OLED and compared to that one, this QLED just looks OK. The blacks are noticeably gray, and the colors don't pop quite as much. Perhaps my standards are just too high now that I've seen how nice an OLED looks. When LG comes out with their smaller OLEDs I'll probably replace this one with that.

There's a dedicated button on the remote which is for ambient mode. It shows pretty animated pictures and plays soothing music. I find this weird and have only noticed it because I've accidentally pressed the button several times.

The remote doesn't have a backlight, but there's not that many buttons so it's relatively easy to memorize for situations whee you're in the dark.

I'm a big user of chromecast, and interestingly enough I can cast content on YouTube and Netflix from my phone to the TV, but for Hulu and HBO, there's no option to cast. I'm going to buy another chromecast to remedy this.
